I've heard that a 1998 polaris xc 700 is a fast sled but I also heard that they are off on the speedo. If they are a fast sled how fast can they go and could one keep up with my buddy's 2009 ski doo 600 e-tec?
I'd say most everything out there is "off on the speedo", LOL!
Speed wise, I'd doubt there would be any struggle to 'keep up', LOL, but it is a 10+ year older chassis, and some people do complain that the wedge chassis is a little harsh compared to the newer technology out there. I don't know the Doo chassis that well to know how much more advanced it might be than the old polaris, but that can be a factor.
