Default rupp tr440-2 timing help

Hello I have a rupp with a tr440-2 and I put on new condensors and points. I removed the start plate and need to retime it. It does start but runs bad. Does anyone know where the timing marks on the housing are? I can see the ones on the flywheel. Also does anyone have or knw where to download a manual from this engine that might have info on tune ups. All I could find is a general Hilton manual. Thanks alot for any help

My manual is Snowmobile Service Manual 11 th Edition CLYMER Pro Series. I have never worked on a rupp. Point gap is 0.014, retarded is 10-13, advanced is 22-25. Weights should be fully advanced. Full advanced is 22 deg. -25 deg........0.114-0.147 inch. Not sure if this last measurement is your piston before TDC. The book also says that some models have timing marks and some do not. Sorry I do not know, I hope this helps
