2012 switchback 800

a little help??
I just bought a new 2012 polaris 800 switchback. Im looking to put a can on it. im looking at jaws, slp, and mbrp. Ive watched alot of videos, I like the sound of the jaws, but now im hearing it may cost some h.p. Is this true???

Cans do not do anything but make noise and lose hp.
