Just got of the phone with my broker. I was expecting the "sled insurance is cancelled or doubled story", but instead got the news that Gore Mutual, just cancelled my ATV policy, as they no longer insure ATV's larger than 500cc.

So she is putting it with Dominion of Canada (where my sled is) and the rate actually went from $353 last year to $304 this year on my 2000 Grizzly 600cc.

Asked about my sled as its up Jan 15th. She said she hasn't heard anything bad, and doesn't expect a problem. I guess we will see soon.

As I mentioned before, I'm in Ontario, and insured with Liberty Mutual, and am paying $360 for my '00 Millenium MXZ 700 with a $500 deductible on collision.

This is a stand-alone policy -- I have nothing else insured with them, although it did start last year. You might have more problems if you just start up with them -- I'm sure they want you to insure your first born, along with your cattle, house, truck, and mistress now LOL.

Also, someone else stated that they are NOT good to deal with if you have a claim. Easy for me, because I won't have a claim LOL.
