I have a 2000 Grand Touring 600 (ZX chassis). The crank and case are shot. Thinking of dropping a 700 in. What do I need to do? I figure pipe obviously. Not sure about the following: Can, motor mounts, MPEM, stator, carbs, gearing clutching. Which of these need to change? Anything else?

Bye the way, it also has electric start and reverse. Any issues with these?

If it's RER, you'll need another RER motor, if it's mechanical the reverse will be fine. The electric start should fit on any of the liquid ZX motors. It would be best to get as many parts as you can off the new engine, but lots of your old stuff could be made to work.

It is a mechanical reverse. Do you know if the computer module is the same?

Might be some slight differences, but your dealer should be able to re-program to the other engine specs.
