I love to ride as much as the next person but i would just like to point his out to everybody. I live on a farm and one of the main unmaked trail crosses our property. 99.9% of the people that ride across our property are very respectful and wait untill we have enought snow but it seems that at least once or twice a year we have someone gets it in their head that just because we have an inch of snow then need to ride and it tares the hell out of the fields. Last year we had 3 or 4 big strips of our wheat ripped up. Our neighbor had the same thing happen along with some poeple jumping his round bales and he posted his land this year. So if you see people doing this please tell them to stop because even though that person might not think he is hurting anything it costs us money and it does get trails closed. Our point of view is we are happy to let you ride across our property as long as you respect it. Sorry for the long rant i just really get ticked off when i see this and know that a few bad apples can ruin it for everybody. Think snow!!!

Stuff like this ruins it for everyone. It's the reason that landowners close off their land to snowmobiles. It's a shame.

and we wonder why we loose land ussuage for our trials. this also happens were i am from, lots of farming land that we have to cross. The thing that really hurts is that its probably the guy that doesnt even have a trail pass that coments these things.

Unfortunately this happens everywhere...here is another example. The best thing we can do is to keep it at the forefront and gather people's attention to it.

It amazing how one rotten apple can spoil the whole works. I can't blame land owners (especially farmers) for closing trails that run through their property because people can't wait to ride.

I would put up a sign at each property line:

You want this trail to stay open?

If so, then stay ON it.

Should get the point across.

I have seen signs such as those Wolfie and have strictly stayed on the trail. I appreciate all the landowners who allow us to pass through their property. I know a field is enticing but if you stray from the trail we might not have that trail at all anymore. If you want to go off trail look for hydro lines

Thanx to all the landowners
