New here mxz 670ho

New here. Im from bancroft ontario and like snowmobiles. I own a 1971 tnt 340 and a 1998 670 high output mxz. I had and sold a 2004 600 sdi ho and also recenty sold a 1994 polaris 440 that i rebuilt. Just bought the 670 and had a few questions It will need a new track and I was wondering how big of a lug I could go to. Also the possibility of converting it into a long track since I love riding in 3' of powder. Any known things i should look for on the sled? It has 8300km Compression is 148 per side. Also what would the hp rating on the high output be? Thanks

First off, welcome to the forum. If sled is a 1998 670 MXZ, it's not a HO and has around 110-115 hp. If sled is a 1999 670 MXZ, it is a HO and has around 125 hp. Manufacture date of 1998 would make a 1999 sled. Either one is in the s-chassis, but the 98 would have standard DSA front suspension, while the 99 would have DSA plus.

Think Snow!
