Hi!
A buddy of mine got no light and no instrument on his -06 F1000
it still runs..
What ohm and betwen wich "engine" wires?
And what else to check?
Any known electrical isuses on the F1000?
Before you go tearing into it, sounds like a minor problm.. A quick search for me I found this below.. On the diagram there is a fuse 8 & 9.. I'd start there, going to guess the bar heaters don't work either..
maybe this will help but on my sled the same thing happend and the cause was because one of the wires had melted being to close to the muffler maybe that happend to yours for the instruments
I finally got the ohm value for the light coil (0,08-0,12 ohms between yellow and yellow) ….nothing wrong there, my reading was at 0,09 ohm and no short to ground. One off the Questions now is why there’s on flashes from the wrench icon at the speedometer. Then again nothing is going on at the Speedo, no light no icons no digital display no needle movement.
