'96 440 rear suspension upgrade ???'s

Newbie here...I have a 1996 Arctic Cat Panther Deluxe 440 (2 up)and I'm looking for suggestions to beef up the rear suspension. I'm 220+ lbs, and I can feel every bump.

I'm hoping someone can point me towards an after market shock, or perhaps a shock from a larger sled that will bolt right in.

I'm no stranger to tools or fabricating parts so if some one has an idea or can link me somewhere where this has been done before I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Mike

Is the unit bottoming? If so, you can increase the torsion spring tension by installing overload adjuster blocks or even a heavier torsion spring.

Adjuster blocks are the quickest fix, though don't give you as much.

If it simply a shock issue, maybe a rebuilt unit or swapping to a Fox shock would help.
