ok one of my friends has a 2000 formula Z 700 with dpm… when he puts on the high beam or low beam light the ski-doo goes back in to idle mode or something… idles and starts fine but wont move… I think that the computer needs to be reset..
anyone know why?

So it runs fine until you hit the hi/lo beam switch? Sounds like there's a wiring problem or something with DESS.

yeah I think it might be the dess cord. It might be just that the cord isn't getting good connection on the sled. Try the dess cord.
