Arrow Looking For My 1st Ski Doo

I'm looking to purchase my first ski doo.

I found a pretty good deal on a 1997 Ski Doo Formula 500. The owner already did all the necessary repairs such as
-new motor (2 new pistons, rings and gaskets, ne w wheel bearings, seat, brake pads, center and rear adjustable shocks rear springs and suspension, crank cord and plastic skis)

is this a good 1st ski doo? and is there anything else i should look at that is useful before a purchase?

Thanks for helping a newb

look at the track make sure there are no ripped out studs. check carbides on ski's if they are still sharp. this sled should do 80-90 mph

Formula 500 purchase

Look's like a good sled, how many mile's were on it when the rebuild was done! Who did the rebuild? First thing i'd doo after purchasing it would put a good skid plate on it! You'll be glad you did, good luck! wiscpooman
