Large Avatars Broken

Premium members are supposed to get 144x168 avatars but it is resizing it down to a much smaller size. This used to work but now it's broken. Originally when the new software was put in I uploaded a large avatar that worked until just now when I uploaded a new one. The new one was scaled down to tiny even though the resolution is 144x157. It is being scaled to 83x96.

Is anybody there? It's still broken... I have tried two different files, both are still being rescaled...here is what it should look like in the attachment. Meanwhile "increased avatar size" is still an advertised feature:

https://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/payments.php

My image is 144x166 which is supposed to be allowed. There is a big deal about it on the membership page but meanwhile it does not work, and after three days I get no response at all? Really? I was asked very promptly not to complain about site problems in the general forum concerning an earlier issue...so I post here and get ignored? So is this like put your complaints in the round file? I hope if anyone is reading this you understand that this is a legitimate concern, I'm not trying to give you a hard time, just illustrate clearly my user experience from my end. Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry that no one has responded to your problem. I have been away for a couple of weeks now lying in bed with a bad hip and I probably won't be here long today. I'm not sure if our other admin, Jim, has been around or not. Let me see what I can find out for you. Could you please send me the avatar that you are trying to use?

I noticed my avatar is smaller also. It seemed bigger before the sight changed. What can I do to make it big again?

Snow Prowlers problem was corrected with a delete of his pic and another upload of the same pic. It came back bigger after that.

I tried it and that did not work unless there is some other way that I'm not aware of besides selecting "do not use an avatar" and clicking save and then selecting a new avatar and clicking save.

I can tell you that when the new software was first installed there was no scaler for the avatars. That is, if your avatar was too big it was rejected. Now it allows any size and cuts it down to 96x96. I attached one of the avatars I tried in my first post, here I will attach all the avatars I've tried. They are all 144x168 or less and well under 32k.

This is what I did. Click the do not use, hit save. go to another place on the sight. Then go back to your U.C.P. and re upload your avatar. It worked for me.

Just an update, I've tried this probably once a week since my original report and it still does not work. My guess is the setting is wrong for "lifetime premium" members because I don't see any lifetime premium members with large avatars but the regular premium members do have them.

When the site was originally changed I was still at regular premium status, and that's when I was able to upload a large avatar. Now that I'm at lifetime premium the large avatars do not work anymore. Nice punishment there. Come on, there has to be a fix for this.

For the record, I have tried every suggestion from everyone multiple times. A selection of the files I've uploaded are included in attachments in this thread, and they all should work. I can confirm that they all get scaled down. Don't really know what else to say, this just isn't something I'm doing wrong.

I've looked at the permissions many times trying to find the problem and saw none. I did come across a switch that I changed this time. See if it works now.

I tried to change the avatar myself, but I don't have permission.
