Hi i have a 2002 mxzx 440 race sled and have custom jaws twin pipes
i have no clue how to jet it....i have the low compression heads and run 91 octane...
thaught it ran rich cause i was burning plugs left and right ( before i put the pipes in ) but checked and the plugs were white.. ( to check em you hold it full throttle kill the engine but when do u let go of the gas ).... umm... as per jetting i think i have a 340 on the left carb and 350 on the right ( looking to the front of the sled )
ohh and could i put the high compression heads with 91 octane since i have the octane level switch? may be it would run better?
i have no take off with it but the top end is crazy...but i'm scared of holding it too much cause i don't want to blow the engine ( even tho i have a spare lol )

so post all the tips you guyz can think of
thanks

I would recomend talking to Jaws or the Crank Shop in CT. Those are very finicky motors, and I am fairly sure the pipes are setup for the race fuel heads.

They probably can get you started down the right path quickest.
