Recently bought a 1971 Polaris charger 432. I can not get it to spark. I removed fly wheel and cleaned points and still nothing. Any recommendations? Thanks!!!

Recently bought a 1971 Polaris charger 432. I can not get it to spark. I removed fly wheel and cleaned points and still nothing. Any recommendations? Thanks!!!

I sanded down the magnets on the fly wheel and put it all together and I now have spark.
