1999 Mach Z Don't Know What I'm Looking At

I have a 1999 machZ triple, a real good working sled. Hasn't coughed a plug this season, started second pull all winter. Amazing power.Last nite when I was putting it away for the season ( we're done in Eastern Ontario) I took out the plugs to spray some summer lubricate down the holes I noticed that one jug, far right, when shining a flashlite in the hole I noticed that around the outer top of the piston, it was clean, no carbon.Black in the middle. The other pistons were black right across the top. Is this a indication of something? Should I have a compression test done next season?Could that plug be breaking down?Could the piston be new?I owned the sled for three years and have no idea what the previous owner did or didn't do. Thank-you, Jamie

yeah , cant hurt to check it out. really what your descibing though is just a rich running cylinder. was it warm the last ride you took? i would doo a compression test and if its nothing out of line and your happy with the way the sled runs, i`d say good to go.
Its called piston wash and thats what you want. Thumbnail size by each port is good, anymore you need to jet down any less you may want to jet up.
IF THE SLED RAN GOOD LEAVE IT ALONE .IT CANT BE RUNING RICH IF ITS CLEAN IT WAS RUNNING LEAN . FOG IT PUT IT AWAY BREAK IT OUT NEXT FALL . WENT THE TEMPS GO COOL AGAIN PUT CARB CLEANER IN IT AND BE GONE . OR PUT A 1.000.00 IN IT TO FIX WHAT YOU AND THE BACK YARD TELL YOU HOW FIX IT s DO "
