I have an 2000 mxz 700 that has a stock pipe and a silencer on it, all of the insulation is gone from inside the silencer.my question is,is that going to limit my hp from the pipe? (NO BACK PRESSURE NO POWER?)
Good question. I have always wondered that. Alot of people are taking their stock silencers apart and installing a solid piece of pipe instead of the stock pipe with all the holes in it (while leaving the expansion chamber in tact). It gives the sled a much better sound. I wonder if you will lose performance doing this. Anyone know?
