Just wondering how well this sled runs and the power of it compared to the 600 xc and other 500's and 600's. Some great deals on these sleds this time of year. Any input would be great!

I have a 2001 600 XC SP, but I have never ran against a 500 XC SP w/VES, but I hear thaey are not very far behind.  Maybe even beat a 600 if clutched properly and the 600 wasn't.  Not mine of course.

I just bought a new 2002 500 xcsp edge and this baby flies!!!!

She spanked my XLT and i was able to keep up with the Yamaha sx 700 sled and it was not gaining a ounce........I pounced him on the low end but he got me by about 3-4 sled lengths on top end. I was able to hit 105mph.

I never got such a rush off the line in my life. I though my Ninja 600 was fast off the line but the the 500 edge has put new meaning to it!!!!

you may get a great deal on them now that the season is coming to an end. I bought mine for $4900.00 out the door. i was able to get it in red with no extra charge.

$4900.00 out the door? That's a great price. My buddy was quoted $4900.00 before taxes. Is that what you paid with or without taxes? What dealer sold it for that price? Sounds like a great sled for the money. I don't think you can go wrong.
