The first sled I ever rode was a Polaris 340 TXL, well it was brand new and I was alot younger. I think it was a 1976, my cousins had 2, one was a 340, other a 440.

The only problem that I have with polaris is the fact that they have not shown us what the 2003 sleds are going to be like this year.
The only reason I have a problem with this is because Arctic Cat, Yamaha and Ski-Doo have already put their new lineups on display. Of which some of the models are ground breaking changes.

Come to think of it, Those 3 have WAY JUMPED THE GUN! It is too early to be displaying the next season snowmobiles. This is not fair to the dealers, they still have the 2002 in stock and the 2002 winter really should not be considered over untill April anyway.

With the other 3 making a new fancy model of some sort, I am hopeing Polaris comes out with something really cool. If they do I will definitly check them out.
Untill then.....................

All I can say is I am a diehard polaris rider, but holy cow did Cat hit the styling or what...I think those firecats are bada$$ looking sleds.  I guess polaris changed styling radically in 01 and 02 with the red then blue X sleds, but those pale in comparison to the style options that cat just unleashed.  I am eagerly waiting for March 8 when Polaris lets us see what their new sleds are all about.
