Still have allot less into my sled, and am pulling allot more power out of it than the 800s.
IMO the 800 is far off the mark for what it was hyped to be. Yes the 800 has more power in the mid range, but unless you plan on clutching the sled for 6000 rpm I fail to see the advantage.
With the 2 800s I ride with, they have yet to pull next to my 700, and they are geared higher than the way too low 700.
One thing about the 800s that scares me is BOTH of them have EGTs on them, and BOTH of them run a CONSTANT 1390 degees. The DET sensor is CONSTANTLY ON in order to keep it alive.
We unhooked the det sensor and tuned to 1250 degrees on one sled and it runs much better and allot better on fuel. BUT, im sure it is not as clean as the stock setup, thus the need for the DET sensor.
