those new REVs are lighter and it's not like my sled has ever been a heavy problem.
the new gauges are awesome, hopefully they will be converting all the models to this new platform!
they say 50 pound light and 37% stronger, but what they dont say is 25% more expensive
It is hideous. I guess I'm not ready for this angular look. I miss traditional-looking snowmobiles.
BRP did it again! Raised the bar (imo) to almost unreachable heights for the other manufactures. With the weight loss this puts a spread of over 50-80lbs on other machines, and with 151 hp I don't even think the mach z would catch it in 8 miles. I'm sure this/these machines will not disapoint, but it is early to tell. I will take mine as a gade with the 800r all black.
btw that is the nicest instrument cluster I have seen on a sled!
Can't wait to see the entire line up
I really like it, if it rides as good as my Rev does and is lighter to boot I'm in for a new one. Now I just have to decide if I'm getting and 08 or an 09. :whatever:
hmmmm i dont know about these new sleds, but a lighter mach z would be nice to try....
Like the new gauges for sure, not convinced about the new look.

Considering I've got a (very) low mileage '07 Renegade X, I won't be buying one anytime soon... in fact, if winters keep being poor like they have been, I won't be buying another sled :(
im kinda with russ i like the 90s style but unlike him i think this one looks interesting

i agree with you on some levels, but how many of us liked the REV when it first came out? I thought it was hideous and now i love it!

the mach Z is still going to be in the RT chassis, not the XP. All specs on the mach are pretty much the same as 2007 (weight, HP, etc)

all other models except the freestyle will be in XP chassis

Oh and I like the new model
After seeing the technological advances made along with making it lighter...I'm in!!! BRP looks to have made another huge stride ahead of the competition. I'm glad I ride Doo already or I'm afraid that I would have to put up with the ribbing of my fellow riders for changing over. :inlove:
I really like the weight savings and the technology. I think the black looks sweet on the sled. The original yellow spy pics made the sled look cheap. I think I may have to give my 05 to the wife or son, cause I can see that XP in my barn already! :D
I like it a lot. About time they got a real gauge package.

I told myself that after this winter, I was going to keep mine for another year. Now I'm not so sure.

I dont like so many angles, I think it makes them look too fragile. Like if you flick it on a cold day a piece will just fall off. But I am sure everyone will follow BRP as usaul.
The thing that sells me on it, is the extra foot room to stretch out the legs. I love my 550x but after a 200 mile day, my knees are killing.

I agree, the leg room and the weight are selling me. Now if yami comes out with a 500lbs sled this year...I might just switch to a 4 stroker
I myself am all about the old zx chasis. one of the best..

but &(%^%!.. skidoo has hit a nail right on the head with this catch!

wow.. amazing looking sled.. AMAZING.. everything is just great..

its going to be big comp for the other 3 to catch up;)
I like it a lot but I do have concerns about the heat that'll be generated from the brake and clutch on one side and the chain case on the other side. It looks like it'll melt your boots right next to it. Does anybody else see that or is it just me? I've allready started designing Doo sandals for all XP riders. :lmao:
