I've got a 68 ski-doo olympique with a 300 single cylinder. The sled works great on the grass or on real hard pack (like a plowed road) but in loose snow when you open it up it shudders hard.It almost feels like the track is hitting the bottom of the tunnel. The track seems to be tight ,tried different belts, motor mounts aren't broke and the drive sprockets look good. What am I missing? :(

Check the drive shaft bearing. That caused a simular vibration on my 340 everest.

Have checked all of these,by drive shaft I'm assuming you mean front axle.I've also checked the rear axle and bearings. As I've said all of the sprockets front and rear look good. This is no vibration its a violent shuddering.

First check your track tension, maybe too tight, then go to your bearings.
