A while ago I posted that my '03 Highmark got terrible fuel economy and seemed to be down on power. My dealer and a few others said that the chip wasn't burned in and to just give it time. After three tanks of gas (at 50 miles per tank) and listening to others that loved their 800's I decided enough was enough. I took it back to my dealer and had him check it out. After installing a new DPM, lowering the needle, and turning out the air screws 1/4 turn this thing just flat out moves.Deep powder floatation is fantastic, I got the weight transfer dialed in, the clutches engage smoothly, and the engine pulls strong through the entire range. No flat spots. On top of the performance, I am getting between 10 and 11 miles per gallon. Besides everything else, trail manners are much better than I expected for a mountain sled. Bonus. Maybe I'll wait on the Rev-Summit after all. This sled is just way too fun to think about giving it up yet.
