a cat buddy of mine brought me his sled,it would spit out fuel from the overflow hose on the pto side carb. I checked the needle and seat all is good there, running 330s for mains, and 1 turn out on the fuel air mixture screw.also if you let it idle for more than a minute or so it loads up bad enough to drop the idle and eventually kill it. leaned out the oil pump a little because there was a teaspoon of oil in each port when i took the y-pipe off, plugs look good. ANY IDEAS!!

Sorry for the late reply...just joined the board today.  If this is not a float problem, it sounds like a torn diphragm in the fuel pump.  Fuel will dump right into the crank thru the impulse line...it will even do it when the motor is not running and you are parked facing downhill.  I've seen this happen several times...

Now I feel pretty stupid.  What I just said would have nothing to do with the overflow tubes.  I guess I should learn to read the question before I respond...

But if the machine ever floods like a pig at idle or when not running, check the fuel pump :)
