Help!!! the clutch on my 98 mach1 blew up last week-end. what happened was all 3 of the bolts which hold the primary spring down broke[all 3]. It has happened once before to prior owner and i don't want it to happen again. There are a few chatter marks on the mating surface between the spring cover and the where it mates w the moveable sheave[probably happened after all three bolts broke].
Anyone w expertise on this matter??? sled shop has been useless on this matter and say it has never happened before...but they of course had some new bolts in stock]
