How far are you racing? You should have him in the short run as well since he isn't running the HO, but certainly the longer the run, the better it will be for you.

well, having a 97 myself, I would say that the MXZ will have a chance if the rider is lighter than you. I have put my lighter cousin on my sled and he has beaten ZRT 600's by almost 200 feet. And that was stock! He weighed about 200lbs at the time. If the MXZ is hooking up, I would not rule him out of the winner's circle...in a long race though, the 670 doesn't stand a chance.

Agreed, I owned a 97 670 and I never was able to take my friends 98 Mach 1.  It pulled harder all the way, at least I was close until about 70 Mph.
