Yes the mxz would be faster, but you gotta ask your self why would a guy trade a sled that should be worth a 1000 more than the indy 500 evenup. What is wrong with it ,motor on the edge of needing a complete rebuild(top end and bottom end) or what or is the sled just unbeleivably slow, something has to be wrong with the sled,or he was a Polaris rider and made a mistake in switching and wants to come back to a fine piece of equipment again.

Something isn't right there.  A zx chassis series 3 600 for the old 488 liquid?  I know the 488 is a bullet proof motor.   I might be able to understand if it was a nice running xc 500 or something.  Anyways I think you should get the background of that sled checked out so you don't get stuck with a lemon.

Oh I see.  Well the 99 mxz 600 is a very nice sled, around 107 hp, which is nothing to sneeze at.  Its faster than the cat 600 twin but a little behind the exhaust valve 600 polaris (reason for doo coming out with the 600 ho next year actually, but thats another story).  The rear skid is the old sc-10, not the sc10 2 or sc10 3 that makes the new zx chassis mxzs handle so well, but its still a good riding machine.  And hey if you don't like it you can sell it for a few grand more than the indy.
