I've got a new Polaris P-85 primary that measures 28deg.'s on nearly all of the sheaves. The very inner part, near the shaft is even less (I believe all modern Polaris's are this way). Its just a small portion of the clutch.

Anyway, most Polaris belts have 28deg. sidewall according to my race manual.

The odd part is both of the secondaries I have; a Polaris, and a AC roller, both have 30 deg. sheaves.
Is this the way other makes are?

I'd like to machine the AC clutch to say 29deg. to get a little more overdrive out of it. Anyone try this?

Thanks
