I bought a fuel and temp gauge for my 800MXZ, i was wondering if the wiring is already in my sled and all i half to do is hook them up,are their wires their that I just hook them to? if so where are they?
Every MXZ that I've owned has had temp and fuel gauges added. The wires are there, but you must have the senders put in. The fuel gauge sender is a given, but the temp. gauge is different than the original warning light.
What do you mean the fuel gauge sender is a given, do you mean it's already their? and do I just hook the temp gauge to the wires that go to the temp light?
no...you will have to add the fuel gauge into the gas tank, but to add the temp sensor, all you have to do is witch the sending units and plug the gauge in. Easy.
This is an old thread, but where would I be able to pick up the correct sender for a temp gauge? Anyone know how much they go for? How much is a temp gauge? Are there places that sell gauge packages with everything you need to install a temp gauge and fuel gauge? I'm looking for the 2 gauges that match the stock gauges and go in the small circles next to the stock gauges.
