Anyone know of any for this weekend?
How thick is the ice?

800mxz told me this morning Secord Lake (Gladwin) doesn't look too good. Not much snow at all and temps have been warm for a while.

I'm still heading up, not planning on doing much riding though...

Can we run on the lake or is the ice to thin?

There will be a lot of ice draggers at Houghton Lake's North Shore this weekend.  I was there last Saturday and there was a huge turnout.  The ice held up great considering the temperatures, everyone was able to pull there rigs out onto the ice.  There were a bunch of tracks to run on.

Not sure doc. I'm heading up regardless. Can always lounge around the cottage

I was in Houghton lake today. Consecutive 48 degree days have left allot of standing water on both Houghton Lake and Secord Lake. In Prudinville there was allot of open water.

I'm thinkin of taking the boat up to do some waterskiin. 50 degrees and throw on the drysuit!
