A guy I know is selling a couple of Kawasaki's and I was wondering what anyone knew about them good or bad. One is a 1979 440 liquid cooled and the other is a 1980 340 liquid cooled with 1,300 miles. I don't know the names of them, nor have I seen them yet.
Just wondering how good/bad, fun/reliable they are? Many problems?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I had a couple back in the early 80's and they were fast sleds for there time I never had a problem with the sleds! actully I really enjoyed them!!! they would really corner for and older sled, I think at the time they were one of the lighter sleds made!

I bought a new Invader 440 back in 1980. I"am here to tell ya it was the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned to date!!!!
It over heated all the time until I finally made a bigger heat exchanger out of 3/4 copper tubing. Next, the track flew apart but most of it was covered under a recall. The brakes rattled all the time and had to be replaced sometimes twice a year and I hardly ever used them!
It has NO wind protection, NO suspention and the seat is as hard as stone!
I finally sold it with only 3000 miles and  the guy I sold it too blew it up the next winter!
So, as you can see in MY opinion, I would not take a truckload of NEW invaders for FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
