What's everybody's opinion on the best overall Yamaha sled from 96 - 99?
Also, any ideas what Yammy would compare to a Polaris 600 xc. I drove my bro in laws and loved it but am stuck on Yammy.

:D 1997 or 1998 SX700 W/OHLINS shocks.Install better ski's ,these sleds w/steel ski's and plastic skins pushed in the corners. Also be sure that the trailing arm mounts on tunnel have been reinforced. If the 600xc is an edgeX you'll need a Viper or SRX to stay ahead ,they really rock 'N' roll.

I really like my 1999 VMAX Deluxe 600. All the comforts of e-start,reverse,mirrors,tall windshield, great trail suspension, plus the performance of a Yamaha triple. All this sled needed was plastic skis to be a great all round performer that doesn't beat you up. I just bought a new viper, I loved the Yamaha triples so much I had to have another one. My 99 is in the for sale forum if anyone is interested.

1997 700sx, Had on and loved it, great trail sled, nothing corners flatter. The only problems was the stock skis and stock track.
