Well, I believe the 97 MachZ was the fastest production MachZ...BUT it was F-2000 and Sc-10...not the greatest trail machine skidoo has produced.

After that, the 99's and newer were all pretty much the same, with very few changes over the years other than suspension.

2000-03 MachZ's were pretty much problem free. 02-03 had SC10ll & SC10lll and maybe the 01 had the SC10ll also.
RER is available on the Tech Plus models which is a great thing to have.
99 Mach 1 I think was the beginning of a 3rd oil line running to the PTO bearing, if not the spring order only 2000 had it which would have made it a more awsome sled than what it already was.
The 700 triples had a PTO bearing problem which was due to lack of oil, Skidoo had known of this problem since its beginning in 97. If you look at a 97 & up you will see a plug where an oil line should have been.
I'am HIGHLY dissapointed in the folks at Skidoo for lying and cheating their way thru the years of the 700 when all they had to do was add 10 cents worth of plastic oil line to feed the damn bearing!!!!!!!!!
