As any one that has snowmobiled into Apsley knows, the approach @ the south wye north of the Sandman Motel is horrible (a steep road side ditch & snow piles). Well according to the Paudash Trailblazers' newsletter, the club & township are working to improve access. Hopefully by next winter there will be a bridge over Eel's Creek behind the former Boyer's dealership.

I don't know if there will be a trail this winter to the creek crossing from E107, but will keep you informed. The club used to groom this trail several years ago until landowner issues arose. There has been some bulldozing going on where the trail used to be north of the dealership.

Until a trail is opened & as long as the ice is safe, we'll be running the creek & creek allowance from the Golden Pheasant to the cemetery road that comes out to the Guardian Drug Store.

Hey revrnd -
thanks for the update! I come up that way all the time.

How's the snow up there? Should I be getting the sleds ready early this year? :)
