I am currently looking for a new trailer. I know what I am looking for in terms of Dimensions but I am wondering about other things like, should I go with springs or the torsion axel thing I have been reading about. Which one will last longer? Should I go steel or aluminum? Is there a big difference in cost between the two? I am looking for a 101x120 open trailer with a slush shield. Any info would be appreciated.

I would recommend either a Triton (which I own) or a Floe. Both are aluminum, and will cost more than a steel frame, but in the long run don't have to worry about it rusting either. With either brand you get high quality..if you can afford it, get an enclosed...great for storage, wind won't whip your cover around, and even with a salt shield, crud still gets on,in and under your sled.
