C.J. and his son were killed in an auto accident. LINK
This man was a huge force in the way we got our info on snowmobiles. I recently had an e-mail conversation with him and was very impressed with his whole view on snow-journalism. What a shame!!!!!!

I am very sad to hear the of the tragic dead of C.J. and His son J.J. I feel C.J did more to promote Our sport than ANYONE in the history of snowmobiling !!!!!! I met C.J. in 2000 at the Ski Doo reunion in Minnesota, what great Guy so knowable on all aspects of the sport. God Speed C.J & J.J

His articles about the history of sled racing will be missed. I never spoke to him, but the 2 years I went to Duluth, I spotted him in the infield taking pics.
