Why does the '01 ZRT600 have APVs and the '01 ZRT800 does not?  Can you put APV on the 800?  Am still considering buying a leftover ZRT800 and noticed this difference.

I would guess they didn't want to spend the money on a eng. they were going to drop. Don't some of the after mkt mfgs ofer valves on the big bore kits for the 800 trip? This is the only way I can think of to valve it.

No offence, but have you ever had the chance to ride a ZRT800 or a T-cat?

I have, and I do not think they need APV's.  These tripples have plenty of of low end pull... IMO

6Mile, I owned a ZRT800 for 5 yrs b-4 my ZR.  The power valves would give it better acceleration, to prove it, ride a ZRT600 w/them and one w/out, you'll notice a difference!  I just don't understand why they put them in the 600 and not the 800, knowing that niether engine would be around much longer.

Intersting.  I thought they were in the 800s also...
No idea why they didn't put them in, other than being penny pinchers.haha  Maybe they didn't work as well on the 800 motor as the others or was better off without?  Doesn't make any sense...
