SWRules Hi, does anyone have the factory settings for this sled, I was told it is aformula plus 583cc but it is marked 580,6 on the pull start cover and don't know what that makes it. I am not sure what size carbs. are on it but they are original.

583 was just how Ski-Doo marketed that engine. Yours is a "type" 536. This number should also be found on the recoil housing. That motor makes its' most power at 7,000 rpm. The carb settings are as follows:

main jet: 260 both sides
needle jet: 159-Q6
pilot jet: 35
jet needle: 6FJ6
needle clip position: 3 from top
air screw adj: 1-1/2 turns
1dle: 1,800-2,000 rpm
slide cut-away: pto(clutch)2.5/mag(recoil)2.0
float adj: 23-25 mm

I would think you have a 1992 Formula Plus. 91 Formula Plus has a Type 536 engine in it, which is 521.2 cc. 92 Formula Plus, Type 582, 580.7 cc.

All of them had the Mikuni VM 34 carbs in them.

Jetting specs above are correct for a 91 Formula Plus.

What is the VIN Number of the sled?? The first 4 numbers tell the model number:

92 Formula Plus = 3777
91 Formula Plus = 3759

3780 indicates that it is an 1992 Plus XTC E(electric).

Here are the carb specs for a 1992 Plus
main jet: pto(280)/mag(300)
needle jet: 159 Q-8
pilot jet: 35
jet needle: 6FJ6
needle setting: pto(5th from top)/mag(4th from top)
air screw: 1-1/2 turns
idle: 1,800-2,000 rpm
slide cut-away: pto(3.0)/mag(2.5)
float height adj: 23-25 mm
