A while back I responded to a post that CAT's cust. svc. leaves little to be desired because I've left msgs. for 6 weeks w/their cust. svc. dpt and no one had called me back.  No one has called me yet, but today I actually got a hold of DelRay, the cust svc mgr....he really does exist.  I bought a different sled than the one I snow-checked and wanted to know if I get my $300 deposit back, since I still bought a new sled.  He didn't hesitate a minute and said "sure, no problem".    He has to contact the regional sales rep, so we will see how long it takes.  The majority of my faith in CAT has been restored (still can't believe no one has called me back for 6+ weeks).
Good luck to anyone else trying to contact someone at CAT...if I can help, let me know.

jim fritch,
i can't see why he could say yes, did you give the $300.00 to him and arctic cat ? or did you give it to a dealer ? did you give it to the dealer you bought the new sled from ?
if you gave it to any dealer then it is not up old marina delray to say you can have it back.

Paul, I gave the deposit to and bought my new sled from Nielsen's in Chicago.  I ordered a sled for my wife, but she won't be able to ride this year, so I bought one out of stock for me.  The dealer told me it was up to CAT for me getting my deposit back and gave me a number to call.  Two months later, I've finally spoken to someone.  So are you saying I'm being jerked around by CAT again???  Have already decided that I won't buy another sled from Nielsens.  Being in the car business myself, I can't believe how the snowmobile industry is lacking in customer service.

Thanks!!
