I want to clean the primary clutch on a 98 Form z 583, whats the best way to do this, I have never had it apart. If I take the outer cover off, will I be able to get it back on? Rookie when it comes to clutches :0:

If you have never taken clutches apart before, wait and have someone experienced show you how to do it. There are some special tools needed also. Once someone has shown you how to do it, you wont belive how easy it is to take apart, clean and reassemble it.

Dont try and do it on your own the first time!

I think its cool that you want to learn! Beats paying the dealer an arm and a leg.

SWRules Listen to the voices of experience......One more thing, you can make or have a friend with a cutting torch and grinder make a clutch holder, the puller for the clutch (BOLT ) will run about $40.00 US.
