Depending on how often you take your clutch off - you
could have a hell of a time getting it off. That shaft is
tapered and you've just pressed it on that much harder.
You don't want to strip a clutch puller bolt in the crank.
I would take it off and redo it.
By the slider shoes, I assume you are talking about the
buttons. You can pull it almost off (before using the button
holders) and make sure they are there and not binding.
I assume they mean to start the buttons at the same time
so it slides together without binding. You just need a
spring in the one side and it keeps pressure on the other.
