Is it going to hurt to retorque to 95 ft lbs when book calls for 70 ft lbs.?

The slider shoes inside the clutch the book says to make sure they go in vertically but Im not 100 percent that I did that, how vital is this?

Thanks

Depending on how often you take your clutch off - you
could have a hell of a time getting it off. That shaft is
tapered and you've just pressed it on that much harder.
You don't want to strip a clutch puller bolt in the crank.

I would take it off and redo it.

By the slider shoes, I assume you are talking about the
buttons. You can pull it almost off (before using the button
holders) and make sure they are there and not binding.
I assume they mean to start the buttons at the same time
so it slides together without binding. You just need a
spring in the one side and it keeps pressure on the other.

Post with other questions if this doesn't make sense.
