We finally got enough snow to go riding on our local trails.
Woke up yesterday to 8' inches of wet packable snow
hit the trails at noontime and got to break quite a few miles of local trails.
we stayed out all day and headed home after dark,I was second in a line of 3 sleds and totally missed seeing a huge
rock in the trail, needless to say I drilled it,had a wide world of sports agony of defeat style wipeout.
I got a few bumps and bruises but the Cougar is looking pretty cockeyed up front, looks contained to 1 a-arm and a couple of bent skis.
out of a 50 mile ride it was great to the last 1/4 from home.
but I'm o.k the sled is fixable, anybody got an extra Cougar a -arm kicking around, and other than that it was a great day.

Edgex-my deepest sympathy to you and your friends family

well, its a good thing your OK.

the last night of our trip out west over christmas break, my dads friend hit a tree (to make a long story short, lol) with his brand new zl ss 800... messed it up pretty bad, but he had full coverage, and he did not get hurt (he fell off before the sled hit the tree)
