I'm new to the Ski Doo world, just picked up a 2006 mxz Renegade 600 for my Daughter, well after putting 200 miles on it the jack shaft bearing failed, ended up the shaft was bent! I figured i would change all the bearings on the jack shaft and drive shaft while its down but having a problem getting the bearing on the speedo side off (I removed the shaft). The speedo sensor on the end of the drive shaft is plastic so can't use bearing puller until I get it off. can anyone let me know how to get that off, or ideas how to remove the bearing without taking it off?

Usually you have to bang them off due to being a tight fit. I've used a hammer and chisel in the past.

Thanks, I’ve never seen a shaft with the plastic cap for the speedo on the end and don’t want to damage it, can’t the cap be taken off?
