Just recieved my Service Manual for my sled and it does not state what the stock position of the e-clip for the needles is supposed to be? Their is only one chart that says position 3 is standard, is this true on the 800 Mine is at 4. This might explain my slow speed loading up?

I was hoping that the manual would be alot better than it is!

Never mind I figured out that the part number they give you in the spec chart has a extra dash number. Mine says dash 4

usually they come from factory in the middle postion, any way i got mine at the top posititon, all the way up, so i'm runnin full lean on mid-range, it made a big differance on my 96zrt600 i dont know if the newer ones are the same or not, also got a little better fuel mileage too, just my 2 cents worth............
