El Tigre 6000 Going Through Belts
My 85 El tigre has been ripping apart new gates belts about every 250-350 miles. I ride it a little hard but I don't understand why they fail so frequently. It usually happens after a period of high speed (55+ for this sled) riding. The teeth of the belt will rip apart and fall off. Is there an adjustment of distance between the clutches that will loosen up the tension?
