I would check the voltage regulator input and output , remember it is A.C

I have no voltage regulator on the sled, i wired the light in with out one because of the low voltage it had. Is there a way i could boost the volts on this sled? I need this sled for ice fishing soon and could use some nice bright light.

Thanks for your input guys..
