For a 2004 Mikuni Flatside tm40 carburetors on a 800 Polaris Vertical Escape, is excessive oil in exhaust a carburetor issue of some sort that sucks oil out of the oil lines? There is no significant amount of oil sitting in the bottom of the engine. The oil pump lever notch has been set below recommended positions, so that when the thumb throttle reaches the point where it will start to activate the carburetor gas cable, the oil pump cable notch aligns with the stationary notch on the pump.
