No.. You would not have to make any changes like that.

You will however notice you have more space for PM's, bigger Avatar allowed, more gallery space, a colored username, allowed to have pic in signature, and access to VIP forums.

You can choose a yearly membership or a lifetime membership.

You also can disable more advertising with a supporting membership status.

I could be wrong, but I don't think there is a way to see the expiration date from your CP.

It was never there before either. It would be a nice convenience if it were. This has always been an issue.

I did however figure out how to know when you will be due or expired.

Go to paid subscriptions in your userCP when the page comes up for your options on which one you would like to purchase, there will be heading on the top that tell's when you paid your last one and when it expires.
