F7 151 Kit

I was watching a snowmobiling show earlier this winter and they did modifications to a F7 to boost the horsepower to 151. They open the pipe up and did some mods to it, they drilled holes in the air intake and replaced it with foam, they did clutching to it and changed the timing key. I guess what my question is, does anyone have any more information on this or not?

thanks,

shane

Its pretty easy to wake a F7 up to 150-155hp.

BMP pipe mod$170
D&D Ypipe $90
2.5 degree timing key $15
440 Snopro Highflow airintake $12(don't waste your time on the billet spx one for $50

$287 some time in the shop and 150+hp. :D

Adjustable fuel presure regulator or I prefer a Boondocker $100-$350 to lean it out but not required

Personally i'm running BMP Pipe mod, BMP can(0hp gain or loss), Vforce 3s, Diamond S hood with higherflowing intake, Boondocker, 2.5 degree timing key and absolutely love the way it runs both at home and out west at high elevation. I had a D&D Ypipe which worked great at home but at higher elevations the 700 can't flow enough air to work with the D&D Ypipe.

Yes Shane I sure do, that is my sled and we modified for Snowtrax TV. The mod was done at Birch Point Marine in Bobcaygeon Ontario. The machine works well and the biggest improvement is in the low to mid range area. Recently, my other F7 buddy, added more weight to the primary which we will try this weekend. I'll post some results. Stock the machine pulled 138hp and 93lbs of torque, after the mods we pulled 155hp and 106lbs of torque. The mods are stealth and reliable.
