I've bought a 1993 Skidoo Safari that had been parked in the bush for about 2 years and now it keeps foiling/burning spark plugs(I've tried both BR8's and BR9's)in the left cylinder. Did a compression test on it and it was fine. On the last plug, I regularly took the plug out to check its coloration. The plug stayed quite clean until suddenly it quite working. The working cylinder plug was a chocolate-ish color. The one that died was a lot whiter. It seems to happen while starting it. I've tried cleaning the carb for that cylinder and run a tank of seafoam mixed gas through it. Still foils the plugs. Any ideas? Any good videos on cleaning, tuning, and synchronizing this kind of carb?

Would that also be confirmed by some oil splattered on the outside of that side of the engine? Any ideas of where I could look to get a new seal like that? I'm guessing at that age they might be hard to come by? I believe it's the 377 bombardier motor.

A google search in Canada will help you find them. Skidoo dealer may have them. Age is a factor.
As for the spark plug, who cares, it's not going to fix your problem.
