My brother's 95 sxt 583 is reving at 9000 rpm's. He has a clutch kit (from cudney) and has had his motor modified (40mm carbs, ported, shaved head, gutted air box). Run's real great but too much rpm. Any suggestions to calm that motor a bit?
More Pin weight in the clutch and also try less spring pressure in the secondary. Also since he has these mods what rpm does he want to run the motor. -- Bill
